Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
A group of children from the choir had the amazing experience of being involved in the Mothering Sunday service for Radio 4. The service is available until mid April on BBC Sounds.
What an amazing lot of costumes we had this year. We also got 2 shout outs on the BBC site!
Year 4 had a wonderful time developing their understanding of habitats at Leighton Moss on day 1 of their residential trip. Day 2 included lots of outdoor activities at Borwick Hall.

The worship group did a wonderful job leading the whole school Christingle service in church this morning. They planned and led the whole service beautifully.
It was a delight to welcome Debbie, Abi and Holly to lead worship and a Christmas lesson in each class. Holly led a fantastic dance session with our Year 4s.
A huge thank you to Debbie for all you’ve done for us over the years - you’ll be missed.
Yesterday evening 20 children from choir were invited to sing as part of Lancaster City Brass Christmas concert at The Brewery in Lancaster.

Year 6 had an amazing week of activities last week at Hothersall Lodge. Thanks to all those staff who made this possible.
The children have taken part in lots of Harvest themed activities over the past 2 weeks.
Years 1 - 6 went to church on Tuesday to celebrate and give thanks. We also took along gifts for the local foodbank which were added to those given in church and taken to the local collection centre. The staff passed on their thanks.
Our worship group led worship for the whole school on a Harvest theme.
We have also taken part in the Bishop's Harvest appeal and enjoyed finding out about life in South Sudan and how we can help. All the children were challenged to 'help out to help out' and undertook jobs at home that they were paid 10p for which they then donated to the Sudan appeal. We sent £70 to the appeal.
