Slyne-With-Hest St Luke's Church of England Primary School

Listen, learn, love and laugh as part of God's family

School Values

Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Christian values are at the heart of our schools life. We aim to nurture children in developing the full range of Christian values as they move through our school. This is also at the heart of our Mission Statement 'Listen, learn, love and laugh as part of God's family'.

Each half term we focus on a particular value - this is explored through whole school, key stage and class worship and time is given for the children to discuss and expand on the theme in class. The themes culminate in a sharing assembly when pupils share work from their class. Work is then put on display for the next half term as a reminder of these values.

During 2023 - 2024 the values we are focussing on are:

Autumn Term : Hope and Peace

Spring Term:    Courage and Community

Summer Term: Service and Joy
