Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
When Y2 went on their school trip to the Fleetwood Victorian Day in May an official photographer was there to take some pictures for the new Heritage Learning brochure for Lancashire Schools (22-23). We have been sent a copy of the photos and there are some wonderful ones!
Year 1 had a fantastic day in the Lake District. We went on the steam train from Haverthwaite to Lakeside and then enjoyed finding out about lots of exciting creatures at the Aquarium of the Lakes. After lunch we went on the lake and enjoyed a cruise on one of the Windermere steamers.
It would have at least trebled the cost of Y4s visit to the Maritime Museum to hire a coach so we decided to walk! We set off from school and walked down the canal, down Green Lane, along the River Lune and then over the Millennium bridge to the quay.
After our lunch we enjoyed the Dark Ages workshops.
Year 5 and 6 had a great day at Lancaster University. We explored what good leadership looks like and how important teamwork is and then enjoyed problem solving activities and orienteering around the campus.
