Maths

This week we are going to focus on our addition skills. The first thing to practise is adding two 3 digit numbers together using the column method. Please follow the steps on the sheet attached for how to use the column method correctly. Then we would like you to put these addition skills into practise by solving a variety of addition problems. Finally, there are some websites listed below with some good Maths addition games.

Arithmetic

Here are your Arithmetic questions for this week.

Science

For the last three weeks of term we are going to look at health and nutrition. First, can you investigate the answers to the questions on the sheet below?

Then throughout the week think about how you keep healthy. Are you eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day? Are you doing some form of exercise each day? Think about why it is important to do some exercise every day - there is a 2do on Purple Mash for you to complete where you can design a poster to persuade people to do exercise.

Off to the Lakes

Use the following websites to find out about some of the lakes in the Lake District. Use your PowerPoint skills to begin a PowerPoint all about the Lakes. Over the next few weeks, we will be adding things to it.

Make sure you don't just copy the information - if you don't understand it, don't use it!
