Listen, learn, love and laugh as part of God's family

Summer Holidays

It is definitely time for a break. We're ready for one, your children will be ready for one and you will definitely be ready for one!! Thank you for all the fabulous home learning you have done over the past few months. I know it has been a challenge at times but you have stepped up to the mark and made a difference in your child's education and readiness for Year 2.

They will more than likely be excited when the time comes to come back to school in September but they perhaps will also feel a little nervous. This is completely understandable as for most of them they haven't stepped into the building for 6 months. Reassure them that Miss Forbes is excited to meet them and get to know them and that we will be around to give them big smiles when they need it.

I am going to leave some activities on here simply to give you an option to entertain your little ones on a car journey, rainy day....or just when you want some peace!! They are designed to just keep their brains ticking away and also keep their pencil grip and fine motor skills ready for action!! Please do NOT feel like you have to do them just because they are here! I didn't want to just go from a full week's learning plan to nothing overnight!!

Take the time during the holidays to play games, read books, build dens, catch up with friends (if we're still allowed and obviously socially distant!), go on picnics, play bingo, go for walks, paddle in the sea/river, just have lots and lots of FUN!!!!

Enjoy, and we hope to see you all in September ready for a new and exciting year ahead.
