Hello everyone and welcome back! We hope that you had a lovely half term and a well deserved break!
This week in Maths we are going to be continuing to use the White Rose Maths resources, looking at fractions. The link to the videos is below along with a PDF for each day's activities. You can also check out the BBC Bitesize link for extra support. If you would like an extra challenge have a go at the arithmetic test and see how far you can get - the questions get harder as you work through the paper. For English you will find some more SPaG revision and of course your weekly spellings - don't forget to test yourself! In science we are starting to think about the environment and the impact that we have on our Earth. See if you can have a go at the ice experiment.
Our theme for this week is 'Jungles', and for this we have set you a challenge!! What we would like you to do is research and create a presentation for all that you have managed to find out about 'The Jungle'. This could be a PowerPoint, a poster, a video, a fact file or anything better that you can think of. You may wish to focus on just one area, such as jungle animals, or you may wish to go all out and create a presentation that shows off everything you know. We have given you a little bit of information to get you started and some writing templates, but you don't have to use these if you don't want to - be as creative as you like! Once you have finished your presentation, please send us your work. We are very excited to see what you to come up with!
