Smelling, Week Beginning 4th May

Welcome to another week of Home Learning! It seems like such a long time since we were at school now.

I have managed to say 'hello' to some of you when I've been out for my walks or cycles, which has been lovely.

Thank you to those of you who have been in touch, I love seeing what you are doing and hearing about your days. Remember that if you send me photos I can put them on our Class Gallery - thank you to the people who have already done this, I'm sure you're enjoying seeing what your friends are doing.

Please don't hesitate to be in touch, I will reply as quickly as I can:

The next sense we are going to explore is Smelling. There are lots of my ideas on 'All about Smelling', they are just what we would have been doing in school so I hope you enjoy them at home.

'Big Bad Bugs' has some good ideas for you to dip into.

Spellings - Keep working through the list and remember to keep reminding you child of the earlier ones.

Reading - I know that many of us think 'real' books are better, especially for children, but the ones on 'Oxford Reading Owl' will save you a fortune and there are so many on there to get through.

Phonics - As with spellings, try for the next sounds and keep re-enforcing the earlier ones.

Writing - A little piece of writing now and then will also go a long way!

Summer 3 on White Rose Maths Home Learning looks fantastic!! It's based around the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and covers so many different parts of maths over the week. I really recommend that you do as much of this as you can.

Remember to look at my challenges and see if you're improving!
