In RE, we have been learning about the Harvest Festival and why it is important to Christians. This week, we began exploring how other faiths celebrate and give thanks by learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We discovered the meaning behind the celebration and looked at how Jewish families use sukkahs during the festival. We then enjoyed creating and building our own sukkahs, helping us to understand this special tradition.
