Today, Year 6 had a visit from 'Professor Tuesday' from Heritage Learning. It was an excellent start to our new topic on The Ancient Maya and helped us to start thinking about how they lived. We created a human timeline, learned how to play Pok-a-Tok, looked at how society was organised and handled artefacts. The workshop also involved a number of human sacrifices and, thanks to our high priest Hannah, they were very successful!!
