Over the past couple of weeks we have enjoyed designing and making our own Roman Shields. We then had great fun becoming a real Roman army!!  We used our shields to protect us from any enemies by assembling in a 'Tortoise' formation. We found it tricky to stay in the formation whilst marching!!
