The Year Two children have worked in their sketchbooks to explore mark making to sounds and music. They've had a go at drawing musical instruments and even went large to make whole class drawings and patterns in response to music! We made individual pictures in response to different types of music and then added colour. To complete the unit, they explored patterns linked to our Kenya theme and then designed and made musical instruments that they could play!
