Listen, learn, love and laugh as part of God's family

Stone Age Britain

Picture 1

We have been looking at how people in Britain lived during stone age times.  We have learned lots of interesting facts.  Did you know they used every part of the mammoth after hunting? Its fur was used for warm clothing, its tusk and bones used to make tools and it was a real treat to drink fresh, warm mammoth blood, yuk!!

Have you ever wondered what you could do with your old milk cartons? Try making a woolly mammoth like we did in year 3!

Linking in with our literacy unit on instructions, we really enjoyed following instructions on 'how to wash a mammoth'.
